An Aadhaar office was today inaugurated at the Dar-ul-Shifa Post Office building, in Hyderabad's South East Division.
A permanent Aadhaar centre was today inaugurated at the Dar-ul-Shifa Post Office building, in Hyderabad's South East Division for the convenience of the residents of the area.
Charminar MLA Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, MLC Mirza Riyaz and Dabeerpura Corporator Alamdar Hussain were present for the inaugural function.
The office will remain open from 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM on all working days, expect on gazetted holidays.
The residents of the area were encouraged to avail themselves of the services offered by the new office by submitting any one of the listed original documents required for Aadhar enrolment and other services.
Besides this newest office, 24 other post offices, including in Kacheguda, Jubilee Hills, Amberpet, Bahadurpura, Falaknuma, Bandlaguda Jagir, Keshogiri, L B Nagar, Malakpet Colony, P&T Colony, R K Puram, Rajendranagar, Sahifa, Saidabad, Saroornagar, Shalibanda, Shamshabad, Uppal, Vanasthalipuram, Nacharam, Hayathnagar, New Nallakunta and Hyderguda, also offer Aadhar services.
These offices offer Aadhar enrolment services free of cost, and charge Rs 100 for the full bio-metric scan required for the same. Further, they also offer biometric and demographic updating services at a charge of Rs 5 per transaction.
Those wanting to organise Aadhar Camps at residential colonies/ institutions/ offices can call 040 - 23463800/802. However, the camps will only be organised if there are a minimum of 40 applicants seeking enrolment.
