Actor-turned-politician and the founder president of the Jana Sena Party (JSP) Pawan Kalyan today called on the family members of the six-year-old rape-murder victim from Saidabad area of the city.
Speaking to media persons later, Kalyan said that he was completely shocked at the tragic incident and that urgent justice needed to be delivered to the family members of the victim.
He said that the parents of the victim felt that the police did not work hard enough to catch the perpetrator after the incident.
He vowed that his party would fight till a harsh punishment was given to the perpetrator.
Meanwhile, Tollywood music director R P Patnaik announced a reward of Rs. 50,000 to anyone who revealed the whereabouts of the accused.
In a post on the social media, Patnaik said, "The police have announced a reward of Rs. 10 lakh to anyone offering the whereabouts of the accused. I am announcing Rs. 50,000 in addition to that reward announced by the police. He should be caught. The tattoo of Mounika will definitely help in catching the accused. He must be near you. Keep an eye on him.?
He also said that a harsh punishment to the perpetrator alone would provide peace to the soul of the little girl.
Actor Mahesh Babu too expressed his grief over the tragic incident. And some other Tollywood celebrities appealed to their fans to help the police in tracking down the accused in the gruesome case, Raju.
