Pawan Kalyan Gives V V Lakshminarayana Vizag Ticket
The actor-turned-politician's Jana Sena Party released its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party, which is making its political debut this year, released its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
After detailed discussions on the selection of candidates for the Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies, Kalyan announced this afternoon that former CBI joint director V V Lakshminarayana, who joined the party recently, would be the party's candidate for the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat.
He also declared the nominees for eight Assembly constituencies as part of the fourth list (which also featured Lakshminarayana). They are:
Pasupuleti Usha Kiran for Visakha North Assembly seat
Gampala Giridhar for Visakha South
Kona Tata Rao for Visakha East
Panchakarla Sandeep for Bheemili
Shettibathula Rajababu for Amalapuram
Thummala Ramaswamy alias Babu for Peddapuram
Chirri Balaraju for Polavaram
T C Varun for Anantapuram
A little ahead in the date, Kalyan had announced his third list with 13 names for the Assembly elections, and a solitary candidate for the Lok Sabha elections - Bellamkonda Saibabu for Ongole.

Seeking to emerge as a potent third force in Andhra Pradesh, the Jana Sena has teamed up with the Bahujan Samaj Party, the CPI and the CPM for the Lok Sabha and the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. The party will contest for 140 of the 175 Assembly seats and 18 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats. The BSP has been left three Lok Sabha and 21 Assembly seats, and the CPI and CPM two Lok Sabha and seven Assembly seats each, as part of the alliance.
