Police Closes Wine Shops For Panchayat Polls

Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand orders all wine shops to stay closed from Thursday to Sunday, due to the Panchayat elections.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand, on Wednesday, ordered the closure of all the toddy and wine shops, including bars and restaurants (but excluding bars in star hotels) from 5:00pm on Thursday to 6:00am on Sunday (July 28) in three mandals in connection to the second phase of the Gram Panchayat elections scheduled to be held on July 27.

The orders will be enforced in Shamshabad, Moinabad and within the Narsingi PS limits under the Shankarpally mandal. (INN)

If wine shops bars have to be closed then why exempt star hotels. where is "Every one being equal before law" followed in our country
