Congress senior leader P Venkat Rao, on Wednesday, condemned some leaders for criticising the Congress after joining other parties.
Speaking to media personnel at the Congress Legislature Party office, Venkat Rao said that some leaders have switched loyalties after the passing of the Telangana bill in the Parliament.
"Although they had enjoyed power and posts by virtue of their Congress memberships for the last many years, they quit when they sensed that the party might face turbulent times in the next elections due to the bifurcation issue," Venkat Rao opined.
He also expressed concern over the loss of morality in politics. He said that the act of condemning the parent party in difficult times was both immoral and unethical. (INN)
