P V Sindhu To Be Felicitated By AP Government

After the rousing reception accorded to her by the Telangana government in Hyderabad, the Andhra Pradesh government will now felicitate badminton player P V Sindhu who won a silver medal in the Rio Olympics recently.

The AP government is making the necessary arrangements to acclaim Sindhu and her coach Pullela Gopichand in a public function in Vijayawada.

Sindhu, accompanied by her coach and others, will reach the stadium in a convoy from the Gannavaram airport. She and Gopichand will be felicitated in a function at the city's municipal stadium, which will be attended by AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday at 10 am.

In the evening, Sindhu will attend the closing rituals of the 12-day Krishna Pushkaralu.
