Leaders of various political parties lashed out at Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao for his alleged non-performance and dictatorial style of functioning.
Leaders of various political parties today lashed out at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his alleged non-performance and dictatorial style of functioning.
Speaking to mediapersons, former MP from Karimnagar Ponnam Prabhakar alleged that the Chief Minister had left governance to the wind.
Both KCR and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Chandrababu Naidu were wasting precious time criticizing each other, he said.
Pointing out that KCR had not visited the Secretariat for the last 50 days, Ponnam asked how he would rule the state.
Stating that KCR had come into office by making impossible assurances to the people, Ponnam said that the day when the people of the state taught a fitting lesson to the CM would come soon.
Another Congress leader and Jagtial MLA T Jeevan Reddy said KCR had no moral right to continue in office after failing to construct a single double-bedroom house even after one year in office.
The TRS government had also failed to clear the pending bills of the Indiramma houses till date, he alleged.
CPM Telangana secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram also censured KCR for ruling the state "like a dictator".
"KCR said something before the elections and is saying something else after the elections," he said, and lamented that the CM had removed GHMC workers which was unprecedented.
Telangana TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao sarcastically said that KCR would not be able to fulfill his election-eve promises even after 25 years.
Stating that KCR rode to power by showing heaven in the palm of his hand, Errabelli wondered at the statement of the Chief Minister that he would transform the cities in Telangana to rival New York and Singapore.
Another TDP leader Addanki Dayakar accused KCR of adopting many anti-people policies.
Telangana Political JAC Chairman Kodandaram demanded that the Chief Minister extend Rs 5 lakhs as ex-gratia to the kin of each of the farmers who had committed suicide.
Kodandaram consoled the kin of the deceased farmers in Siddipet of the Medak district on Tuesday.
