As part of the ongoing 21-day-long Formation Day celebrations, the Oorura Cheruvula Panduga was celebrated across Telangana State today.
Ministers, MLAs, MLCs other elected representatives and officials in their respective areas organised special programs on the banks of village tanks and other water bodies to mark the event.

Across the State, women were seen carrying Bonalu to their respective village tanks and offering prayers to the goddess Gangamma.
Meanwhile, in a tweet, Minister for Finance T Harish Rao said that the State government's prestigious Mission Kakatiya program had become a role model for the country, and that the union government had also copied the scheme and was implementing it in the name of Amruth Sarovar.
