On Day One, Jagan Shunts Four Officers Out Of CMO
CMO Special Chief Secretary Satish Chandra, CMO Principal Secretary Sai Prasad, and the CM's Secretaries Girija Shankar and A Rajamouli, were sent to the GAD.
AP Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today issued orders shifting some top officials out of the CMO.
Upon his directive, Chief Secretary L V Subramanyam transferred the four officials, including CMO Special Chief Secretary Satish Chandra, CMO Principal Secretary Sai Prasad, and the CM's Secretaries Girija Shankar and A Rajamouli, and asked them to report to the GAD.
The Chief Minister was busy making some more changes to the administration that was so far headed by Chandrababu Naidu. As part of this, Jagan also appointed Tourism MD Dhanunjay Reddy as additional secretary in the CMO. The related orders were issued by L V Subramanyam.
The Chief Secretary also issued memos on funds, expenditure and bills sanctions, and asked the administration to stall paying the bills for any works until new orders confirming payments were issued. He also asked for the cancellation of works that were approved before April 1 but were not started yet. The previous regime had violated the FRBM norms and gotten loans from various sources, and that was burdening the state coffers, he said.
