Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday said that the time had come for him to repay his debt to the people of his Pulivendula constituency.
Addressing a gathering today after taking part in special prayers at a church in the town along with his family members, Jagan said that the constituents had stood by him after the demise of his father and former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, and that in return he was now taking up various developmental programs for them, with Rs 1,329 crore released as the first installment.
The CM said that a total of 26 development programs were being taken up, and that among the first initiatives would be the construction of an underground drainage in the Pulivendula municipality for which the government had allocated Rs 100 crore.
