The event will be held up to February 15.
Speaking to the media today, Minister for IT and Industries D Sridhar Babu said that all the arrangements had been completed for the exhibition, and that around 22 lakh people were expected to attend it.
"A total of 2,400 stalls will be set up in the exhibition. Visitors can therefore expect a wide range of products conveniently available in one place. The ticket price for entry will be Rs 40. We are also going to set up a vegetarian restaurant for the first time. All visitors must wear masks. We are also planning to conduct Covid tests at the Exhibition Grounds," Babu said.
Babu added that the Exhibition Society was running more than 20 educational institutions with the income from Numaish, and was providing education to about 30,000 women. Numaish was very useful for commercial businesses, too, he said, and asked everyone to avail themselves of the facility.
