Bachao Telangana Mission chief Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy today made it clear that he would not leave the BJP and join the TDP.
Speaking to the media after meeting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi on Monday, Reddy said that there was no truth in the rumours doing rounds in the State that he would go back to the Telugu Desam Party.
"News about me changing parties is only speculation. I am happily continuing in the BJP," he said.
He said that he had come to Delhi upon the invitation of Rajnath Singh, and had explained to the latter how he was going to the people through the Bachao Telangana Mission.
"We discussed the suicides of farmers in the State and the prevailing conditions," he stated, and said that he had taken up the Rythu Yatra only to know the problems of the farmers.
