Deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, on Saturday, claimed that there was no threat to the Kiran Kumar Reddy government in the state.
Talking to media persons after releasing new text books for Intermediate first year students, at the state Secretariat, Damodar Rajanarasimha opined that Kiran Kumar Reddy would continue his term as CM till 2014. He dismissed media reports that the Congress High Command would replace the CM and the PCC president based on the outcome of the by-elections in the state.
Responding to a question on resignations by a few Congress leaders to join the YSR Congress, he said that there was no truth in such reports, and termed them as media speculation.
Regarding the High Court's direction to the Board Of Intermediate Education to conduct a re-examination for physics paper-II by fixing a date and issuing fresh hall-tickets to students who have paid the fee but could not appear for instant supplementary examination on 16 May, he said that the government would take a decision on it after conducting a meeting with officials concerned.
