Telangana Congress party affairs in-charge R C Kuntia said that no Telangana Congress leader was opposing Revanth Reddy's admission into the party, including Mahbubnagar senior leader D K Aruna.
He added that positions would come to the leaders on the basis of their hard work.
Speaking to the media at Golkonda Hotel today after a meeting with party leaders about Reddy's joining the party, Kuntia said that Reddy would join the party on October 31 in the presence of AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
He also said that Rahul Gandhi would visit the state next month.
Aruna herself said that she would welcome anybody who joined the Congress, and would welcome the decision of the high command on the position to be given to Reddy. She said that she would treat Reddy as she treated any other Congress leader.
Aruna also said that she would work with anybody the high command appointed as PCC president in place of incumbent N Uttam Kumar Reddy.
