TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy said that nobody, including former APCC Chief D Srinivas and CLP leader K Jana Reddy, was leaving the Congress.
On Wednesday, Uttam Kumar Reddy responded to the news that two senior leaders - D Srinivas and K Jana Reddy - of the Telangana Congree were leaving the party, and made it clear that they would not.
He said he didn't know why Jana Reddy met TRS MP B Vinod Kumar.
He exuded confidence that there was no dearth of leadership in the Congress in Telangana. The Congress would sweep the upcoming elections in the State, he added.
It may be recalled that Congress senior leader D Srinivas met Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday morning. He tendered his resignation to the Congress before meeting KCR, lamenting that there was no respect for the senior leaders in the party.
He also said that he had not yet decided when to join the TRS. He said that he would reveal all the details later. (NSS)
