Newly-Elected MLAs Meet Jagan In Jail
After the by-polls, there's more good news for the YSR Congress - 40 Congress MLAs and 10 TDP MLAs are reportedly ready to desert their parties to join Jagan.

The 15 newly-elected YSR Congress MLAs, on Saturday, met their party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Chanchalguda Central Jail, and saluted his leadership.
Later, the MLAs told reporters that people had supported the Jaganmohan Reddy's leadership as they wanted to bring back the golden rule of Rajanna (Y S Rajasekhara Reddy).
They demanded that chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy submit his resignation from his post, taking moral responsibility for his failure in the by-elections.
MLA Karunakar Reddy said that the MLAs were proud to work under Y S Jagan, and that they would continue their fight against the government over people's problems.
He said that they would follow Jagan's guidelines in letter and spirit, and strengthen the party to face the general elections in 2014.
The MLAs expressed confidence that Jagan would come out clean from all the charges against him, and that he would become the chief minister of the state after the 2014 elections.
Earlier, the MLAs and Nellore MP Mekapati Raja Mohan Reddy met YSR Congress honorary president Y S Vijayamma at the party office at Lotus Pond. They also garlanded a statue of former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
Rayachoti MLA Srikanth Reddy described the YSR Congress' victory as the people's victory, and said that people want change from the ruling Congress.
Even though the ruling Congress and the opposition Telugu Desam Party had "conspired" to defeat the YSR Congress, the people have taught a fitting lesson to both of them in the by-elections, by supporting Jagan's leadership, he said.
He even added said that 40 MLAs from the Congress and 10 MLAs from the TDP were ready to desert their parties, to join the YSR Congress for a better political career.
The MLAs who met Jagan include Ramakrishna Reddy, Chenna Kesava Reddy, Gurnath Reddy, Srikanth reddy, Sucharitha, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, Amarnath reddy and Ramachandra Reddy. (INN)
