New Police Command Control Centre Inaugurated
Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao inaugurated the Iconic Command Control Centre (ICCC) at Banjara Hills today.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao asked the State's police department to focus on developments related to law and order, and try to deliver better service to the people.
The CM was speaking after inaugurating the Iconic Command Control Centre (ICCC) at Banjara Hills on Thursday.
Assuring all possible help to the police department for further improving the ICCC building and for utilizing the facility effectively, KCR said that as long as humans existed on the earth there would be a need for policing, and the police needed to keep improving their facilities and functions, and keep reforming their skills, for providing better services to the people.
The Chief Minister added that the State police were increasingly adopting a people-friendly policing concept, and said that he expected them to evolve into an even more dignified and well-mannered force in accordance with our culture.
The Chief Minister also expressed concern over the "significant increase" in cases of cyberfraud and various cyber-related crimes, and asked DGP Mahender Reddy to chalk out an action plan to counter the menace.
DGP Mahender Reddy said that to execute and plan the ICCC, police teams from Telangana had visited several countries and studied the technologies adopted there.
"Nowhere in India, and I think in the world, is there such a facility. It is a hub of seamless technologies and a fusion of modern technologies," he said, adding that the aim was to see every policeman on the ground being connected to technology and to be a step ahead of criminals.
Home Minister Mahmood Ali, Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav, Roads and Buildings Minister Prashanth Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, TRS MLA Danam Nagendar and other officials were present.
