New Assembly Building For Telangana, Old For Andhra

The authorities involved in the process of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh have reportedly finalised the allocation of Assembly buildings for Telangana and the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources, while the existing Assembly building has been allocated to Telangana, the old building / Central Hall will be used as the Assembly for Seemandhra.
Likewise, the present Telugu Desam Party Legislature Office will be converted into the chambers of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The present chambers of the Speaker and the Chief Minister have been allocated to Telangana.
The four committee halls would be commonly used by both the States.
The spaces for the leaders of the Opposition, and other leaders and office bearers, are likely to be finalised next week. (INN)
