The Rajendra Nagar court granted permission to the Telangana police to take gangster Mohammed Nayeemuddin's aides Farhana and Afsana into custody for six more days.
The police had already interrogated the duo for three days. To seek further information from them, the police filed a petition in the court seeking custody of the two for 12 more days.
In response, the High Court issued orders today allowing the police to take the two women into their custody for six days, from 10 am on August 17 to 5 pm on August 22.
The police are reportedly going to travel to Maharashtra, Bihar, Chattisgarh and Goa to investigate Nayeem's assets in those States. It will take the aides along with them to provide leads.
