Union Minister Vijay Goel today praised the functioning of the TRS government, and thanked it for supporting the note ban and building free 2BHKs for the poor.
The Union Minister, after visiting Erravelli village in the Siddipet district where he inspected double bedrooms houses which were recently handed over to the poor, said that the scheme for poor and middle class people and launched by KCR meant was a role model for other States as well as the Central government.
The Union Minister said that he would bring the feat to the notice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discuss its implementation across the nation.
The Minister said, "I met the Telangana Chief Minister yesterday and came to know about the implementation of the scheme in Eravelli. Then I came here and saw 600 houses constructed for the poor at low cost and given to them for free. It is a heartwarming news. This is akin to what Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing at the national level. People are happy with the government."
"I also want to thank KCR for supporting demonetization. The CM and Telangana State have fully supported it. The CM told me that a resolution has also been passed in the State Legislative Assembly in this regard. The CM also informed that 81 villages in the State were transformed slowly into cashless economies. This is a great step ahead. If both the Centre and the State work together, the results would be splendid," he said.
