Nara Lokesh, Others File Nominations For MLC Polls
Besides Lokesh, TDP candidates Karnam Balram, Pothula Sunita, Dokka Manikya Prasad and Buchala Arjunudu also filed their nomination papers for MLC seats.

TDP leader Nara Lokesh, son of chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, today filed his nomination papers for an MLC seat under the MLA quota.
He submitted his papers to the Assembly secretary at Amaravathi.
Besides Lokesh, TDP candidates Karnam Balram, Pothula Sunita, Dokka Manikya Prasad and Buchala Arjunudu also filed their nomination papers for MLC seats.
TDP Andhra Pradesh state president Kala Venkatrao said that all sections were given representation in the MLC nominations.
Speaking to the media, Lokesh said that he would not do anything which would bring a bad name to his grandfather N T Rama Rao and his father.
Expressing gratitude at being selected for an MLC post in just five years after becoming an active member of the party, he said that he did not have the stature to compare himself with others who had been in politics for much longer, and said that the entire credit for his rise went to the party workers.
Lokesh thanked the party's president Chandrababu Naidu and state president Kala Venkatrao, too.
