Vedam Wins Nandi Award

Vedam, a film directed by Radhakrishna alias Krish, has bagged the Best Nandi Film award for 2010, while Nandamuri Balakrishna won Best Actor for Simha, and Nithya Menen won the Best Actress award for her debut movie Ala Modalaindi.

Information and Public Relations Commissioner B Venkatesham and Nandi Awards Committee Jury chairman N Shankar announced the Nandi Film Awards for 2010 at the Film Development Corporation Office premises on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, B Venkatesham said the awards would be distributed to artistes at a colourful function, to be held soon.
