Naidu, KTR, Uttam, Pawan Kalyan Condemn Attack On Jagan
A bevy of the who's who of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana posted messages condemning the knife attack on YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in Visakhapatnam.

AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu condemned the attack on YSR Congress Party president and Leader Of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at the Visakhapatnam airport this afternoon.
The YSR Congress Party chief was attacked by one Janipalli Srinivasa Rao hailing from the East Godavari district, who works at the airport canteen.
Naidu said that the government had no connection with the incident, and that a probe was on to unravel the truth. He also warned of action against YSR Congress Party activists if they created a law and order problem by conducting protests.
Nara Lokesh, a Telugu Desam Party leader who also serves as a minister in AP and is the son of Chandrababu Naidu, too expressed shock at the incident, and said such attacks had "no place in society".
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan also condemned the attack on Jagan. The actor-turned-politician appealed to the government to conduct a probe and punish the guilty.
Telangana caretaker minister K T Rama Rao also expressed shock at the attack on Jagan. Reacting on Twitter, KTR said that he condemned the incident, and that those who were involved in it should be punished. He said that he was praying for the speedy recovery of Jagan.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP K Kavitha also condemned the attack. In two tweets, the Nizamabad MP said, "We are a nation built on the values of non-violence, even when we disagree. The attack on @ysjagan is despicable and cowardly. I strongly condemn it and oppose any culture of violence in politics. As a system, we need to strengthen our security measures to ensure that such lowly acts are never successful in destroying our country's ethos (sic)."
TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy also expressed serious grief the attack. "Severely condemn the knife attack on @Ysjagan at Vizag airport. A proper inquiry should be done immediately. Wish him good health & long life. There is no place for such acts of violence in a democracy (sic)," he said.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu directed the officials to submit a report and promised a probe into the attack. He said that serious action would be taken against the attacker.
Jagan himself, in a tweet, responded to all the concern saying that he was safe by God's grace, and thank to the love, concern and blessings of the people. "Such cowardly acts will not dissuade me, and will only strengthen my resolve to work for the people of my state," he said.
