Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the scientists of ISRO for yet another successful launch of a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), the C-23, today at the SHAR space station, Sriharikota, Nellore district.
Describing the 25th successful launch of a PSLV rocket by the ISRO scientists with indigenously developed technology as a major milestone in the space program of India, Naidu said the country was proud of their stellar achievement which put India in the global space club.
The Chief Minister said space technology and satellites could be used to promote peace and betterment of mankind, in addition to harnessing the power of nature and globalizing research and higher education.
He said that the government of Andhra Pradesh was keen to coordinate with ISRO to exploit the indigenously developed technologies for the betterment of agriculture and healthcare in the State.
Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao too in a statement congratulated ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishna and his team of scientists on the successful accomplishment of their mission.
He said that such successful accomplishments would bring laurels to the nation, and that every Indian should feel proud of their efforts.
Congratulating the ISRO scientists, YSR Congress Party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy said that the successful launch had placed India alongside the developed nations in the Space orbit. (INN)
