Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu did address the Telangana issue at the Mahanadu after all.
He demanded that the government ban the contentious GO 177 besides deleting the controversial Clause 14(F) of the AP Public Employment Order 1975.
Moving on to the issue of hoisting the TDP flag at Telangana events, the former CM questioned why the TDP was being asked set its flag aside when the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and every other political party hoist their flags at the events they conduct.
He also found fault with the TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao's statements that no political party except the TRS would survive in the Telangana region.
Naidu also predicted that the TRS and the YSR Congress Party would tread the path trodden by the Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) and merge with the Congress sooner or later.
Chandrababu went on to state that the TDP was indeed working in conformation with the desires of the people of Telangana.
