Nagarjuna Sagar is receiving high inflows of water.
The lake has received over 40,000 cusecs of water for the first time in the ongoing season - the inflow of water into the project is 42,378 cusecs as of now, and more water is likely to be received in the days to come.
The maximum permissible water level of the lake is 590 feet, and water is now at a level of 559.9 feet. Another metric: the storage capacity of the reservoir is 312.405 TMC, and it now has 232.1418 TMC of water.
The project is receiving water from the upstream Srisailam reservoir.
