Mulugu ZP Chairman Dies Of Heart Attack

Mulugu district BRS president and Chairman of the Mulugu Zilla Parishad, Kusuma Jagadish (50), died of a heart attack at his residence in Hanamkonda today.

Jagadish was immediately rushed to a private hospital near the house, but the doctors declared him brought dead.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed shock over the sudden demise of Jagadish, and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members.

Other ministers, MLAs, elected representatives and other BRS leaders too did the same. They also recollected Jagadish's active participation in the Telangana agitation, and also his services to strengthen the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Mulugu district.

IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao tweeted, "Shocked & very saddened to learn about the sudden demise of Sri Kusuma Jagadish Garu, ZP Chairman & BRS Party President of Mulugu District. He was actively involved in my tour of Mulugu district just a few days back. Gone too soon brother. He was with KCR Garu & BRS for over 2 decades and a very committed leader. Will be a great loss to our BRS family and Mulugu. I pray for strength to his family & friends in this difficult hour of grief. May his soul rest in peace (sic)."

Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao too expressed shocked over the sudden demise of Jagadish, and said that he felt like he had lost a brother.

"Whenever Jagadish called on me, he used to request the sanction of development works his Mulugu district," Errabelli recollected.
