Motorcycle Thieves Nabbed, 11 Vehicles Found
The Kachiguda police arrest two men who have allegedly stolen 11 motorcycles to keep up lifestyles beyond their means.

The Kachiguda Police on Monday arrested two alleged two-wheeler offenders, and recovered 11 stolen motorcycles from their possession.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (East Zone) Y Gangadhar, the accused - Gorragottu Praveen, 20, and Kodakinka Hanmanthu Reddy, 24 - were involved in multiple cases of vehicle thefts in the limits of different police stations.
Said the DCP, "Both the accused, who work as helpers at the Coca-Cola godown at Hasthinapuram, were addicted to alcohol and a luxurious life. Since their earnings were not sufficient for their needs, they started committed two-wheeler thefts in order to earn easy money".
On Sunday, Kachiguda Additional Inspector K Vijay Srinivas - along with DSI P Bharath Kumar and crime staff - while conducting a regular vehicle checking at Nimboliadda at Kachiguda, intercepted two persons who came on a Hero Honda Passion Plus motorcycle bearing the no. AP29 K3053. On seeing police, they tried to escape. However, the police team apprehended them, and on verification they failed to produce the vehicle documents. They were brought to the police station under suspicion, and during the subsequent interrogation, they confessed to have committed motorcycle thefts.
The accused were involved in seven cases of vehicle thefts in Kachiguda police station limits, two cases in Meerpet PS, and one case each in Musheerabad and KPHB PS. At their instance, the police recovered 11 motor cycles, which were altogether worth nearly Rs. 6 lakhs. (INN)
