Modi Violating Constitution By Giving Huge Funds To Gujarat: TRS

The party said the union government had sanctioned projects worth Rs 1,37,655 crore to Gujarat in the last nine months, and that the PM had visited it 40 times.
Hyderabad | 7th December 2022
TRS senior leader and Telangana State Planning Board vice-chairman Boinpalli Vinod Kumar today alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was violating all norms by allocating excessive funds to his home State of Gujarat.

Kumar said that the union government had sanctioned various works and projects worth Rs 1,37,655 crore to Gujarat during the last nine months, and that the Prime Minister himself had visited the State 40 times.

"All projects have been sanctioned keeping in mind the State's Assembly election, and Modi has given preference to Gujarat over the rest of the nation," Kumar alleged.

"The Prime Minister should remember that he represents the entire country, and should not discriminate against or in favour of any State. While Gujarat is enjoying the huge allocations of projects, other States in India are being denied their basic rights. It is nothing but a violation of the Constitution," he claimed.
