He said issuing an ordinance a week before the commencement of Parliament session was wrong, and that the NDA was suffering from an inferiority complex.
MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday blasted the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre for issuing an ordinance related to the Polavaram Project.
Speaking to media persons after meeting Governor E S L Narasimhan at the Raj Bhavan, Owaisi said that it was unethical on the part of the Centre to issue the ordinance merging 7 mandals of the Khammam district into the Seemandhra region for the Polavaram Project.
He said that issuing an ordinance a week before the commencement of Parliament session was wrong, and indicated that the NDA was suffering from some kind of inferiority complex.
The MIM chief described the move as a unilateral decision by the Centre wherein the views and sentiments of people of Khammam were completely ignored.
He also condemned the statement of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on the issue, and asked him to explain as to when the issue was discussed.
He alleged that the Congress, TDP and BJP were equally responsible for the ongoing row over the Polavaram Project. (INN)
