MIM Violence: All-Party Meeting Urges Guv For Probe
An all-Party contingent met Governor E S L Narasimhan demanding murder cases filed against Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi and their MIM followers.

An all-Party leader contingent today met Governor E S L Narasimhan demanding that the latter order a detailed enquiry into the violence that took place in the Old City during the GHMC elections and file murder cases against MIM leaders Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi and their followers, who attacked public representatives.
The leaders, including K Jana Reddy, Mohammed Shabbir Ali, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy and P Rammohan Reddy (of the Congress); Dr K Laxman, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy and N Ramachander Rao (of the BJP); L Ramana, A Revanth Reddy and Errabelli Dayakar Rao (of the TDP); and K Shiva Kumar (of the YSR Congress), called on the Governor and apprised him of the violent incidents that took place on February 2, the day of the GHMC elections.
They urged the Governor to use his powers under the A P Reorganization Act to initiate action against the MIM leaders and their followers for indulging in violence against leaders of other political leaders and their cadre, in the Old City.
