The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen on Monday urged the State government to take steps to ensure the smooth and peaceful celebration of the holy month of Ramzan.

Further, they said that the Hyderabad Police should be directed not to harass traders, and that the shops should be allowed to remain open round the clock.

Ahmed Balala said that Muslim employees should be permitted to leave their offices by 4pm.
