Mehfil-E-Naat will be organised at the Quli Qutub Shah Stadium on February 12, 9am-9pm, as part of the birthday celebrations of Prophet Mohammed (SAWS), the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.
This program is being organised by the Quraniq Mission Board of Hyderabad to celebrate the month of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet.
Mehfil-E-Naat has been initiated to spread the holy thoughts of Prophet Mohammed among Muslims. Quraniq Mission is organising this program for the second time. The organisers expect talented poets from all over India to attend the event.
On the occasion, renowned poets like Haq Kanpuri, Nayi, Makhatal, Azam Shariq amongst others will recite couplets in honour of the Holy Prophet.
Reputed and senior poets from Hyderabad will be felicitated with the ‘Hazon Zeerat Shaf’ award and Rs. 5,000 in cash.
“We are expecting 10 to 12 thousand people from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra to attend the event. Free bus service at various places across the city will be available for the convenience of people who want to attend. Special sitting arrangements for women are also being made,” informed Moulana Akhlaq Sharfi, founder of Quraniq Mission, to mediapersons on Thursday.
