Massive arrangements have been made for the launch of this year's Bathukamma song, at Bhoodan Pochampally of Yadadri Bhongir district.

The song has been composed by music maestro and Oscar winner A R Rahman.

It has another luminary associated with it, too - the video for the song has been directed by ace National Award-winning director Gautam Menon. He shot the video at Bhoodan Pochampally towards the end of September.

The Bathukamma song was written by Mittapalli Surender, and has been sung by Uttara Unnikrishnan.

The song will be officially launched on October 6, 2021 - the same day that the Bathukamma festivities commence.
