Shaik Mohd Khadeer and Mohd Gulam Saleem allegedly stabbed Shaik Sayeed Al Amoodi as Al Amoodi did not pay back a loan of Rs 1.25 lakh he had taken from Khadeer.
The City Police arrested two persons for alleged involvement in a case of attempt to murder near Zoo Park on 13 February.
Addressing a press conference, Charminar ACP Ram Mohan Rao said that the accused, Shaik Mohd Khadeer and Mohd Gulam Saleem, allegedly stabbed Shaik Sayeed Al Amoodi, a resident of Tadbun, on 13 February. This incident occurred as Al Amoodi did not pay back a loan of Rs 1.25 lakh which he took from Khadeer.
The accused were arrested on Friday night, and the police have also seized a butcher's knife and the scooter used in the offence. They were later produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate who remanded them to judicial custody.
The arrests were made by a team led by Kalapather Inspector Mohd Majeed. (INN)
