Lakshmi Parvathi Urges DGP To Bring Koti To Book
Lakshmi Parvathi said that a person named Koti, once a family friend of hers, had posted false information about her on the social media to tarnish her image.
Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi, the wife of Telugu Desam Party founder and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh late N T Rama Rao, met Telangana Director General of Police M Mahendar Reddy at his office on Monday and sought action against some people spreading rumours and indulging in a vilification campaign against her on the social media.
In a memorandum submitted to the DGP, Lakshmi Parvathi said that a person named Koti, once a family friend of hers, had posted false information about her on the social media on April 4 in an attempt to tarnish her image. She urged the DGP to take stern action against Koti, as also against the channel that telecast the information and the social media sites involved.
Stating that she had treated Koti as her own son and that her family had also given him plenty of respect, Lakshmi Parvathi said that the "culprit" used to address her as "amma", but was now resorting to a vilification campaign against her at the instance of some wicked persons.
"Shocked by the ungrateful behaviour of Koti, I enquired about his antecedents, and found him to be a criminal," she said.
She urged the DGP to unravel the conspiracy against her and initiate appropriate action, and that she would otherwise be constrained to take the legal route.
