Lagadapati Meets EC Secretary

Former Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal called on the State Election Commission secretary Naveen Mittal on Tuesday.

Lagadapati has reportedly informed the SEC official that "Jai Samaikhyandhra", the newly launched party of former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will contest the local bodies elections.

He reportedly sought information on the formalities that have to be completed in order to field the party's candidates in the ensuing polls.

However, Lagadapati later told the media that he had gone to meet Mittal in connection with some personal work. (INN)
