The BRS working president assured full support to the Padma Shri awardee and Telangana folk artist, who is going through health and land-related problems.
BRS working president K T Rama Rao today assured full support to Padma Shri awardee and Telangana folk artist Darshanam Mogulaiah, who met him at the former's residence.
During the meeting, KTR inquired about Mogulaiah's health and well-being. Mogulaiah informed KTR that his eyesight had deteriorated, making treatment difficult. Responding immediately, KTR promised to arrange comprehensive eye treatment for him at L V Prasad Eye Institute.
Mogulaiah also brought to KTR's attention a land dispute concerning the 600-square-yard plot allotted to him by the previous BRS government in Hayathnagar mandal. Taking swift action, KTR contacted Rangareddy District Collector Narayana Reddy and directed him to resolve the issue at the earliest while ensuring protection for Mogulaiah and his family. KTR also assured Mogulaiah assistance in handling the legal cases related to the property.
Expressing gratitude to former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Mogulaiah recalled how KCR's recognition of his traditional Kinnera art had brought him national fame and the Padma Shri honour. He thanked KCR for the support and sought KTR's help in resolving the ongoing land dispute.
