TRS MLA K Tarakarama Rao accuses N Kiran Kumar Reddy of hurting the sentiments of the people of Telangana with his brusque comments response to the Telangana statehood issue.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA K Tarakarama Rao, on Friday, accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of trying to hurt the dignity of the people of Telangana.
Talking to reporters at the Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, KTR said that the Chief Minister responded arrogantly when quizzed by the media on his opinion about the May 30 deadline set by the three Telangana Congress MPs.
"The Chief Minister stated that the Congress High Command will not yield to deadlines, and such a brusque reply was obviously aimed at hurting pro-Telangana sentiments", alleged KTR.
Criticising the Chief Minister for his arrogant approach, the TRS leader said that it was the Congress party which had started the practice of setting deadlines towards the resolution of the Telangana issue.
"However", KTR said, "the Congress High Command always went back on its promises and never honoured its commitment". (INN)
