Telangana BC leader and TDP MLA R Krishnaiah called upon the people of the Backward Classes to remain united and struggle jointly for the achievement of political power in the state.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Krishnaiah said that the Opposition parties were not able to digest the BC Commission getting legal status. He demanded that the Union government now table the BC Bill in Parliament and provide 50% reservation to the Backward Classes.
The BC leader also said that the Chief Ministers of the two Telugu States should lead an all-parties' delegation to the national capital and exert pressure on the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre to make the BC Bill a law.
Krishnaiah said that he would lead a struggle for the achievement of 50% BC reservation, and would tour all the states in the country for it.
