Komatireddy Venkat Reddy Vows To Remain In Congress
The MP however continues to create confusion in the party by not turning up for campaigning for the by-election for the Munugodu Assembly constituency.
Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today said that he would remain in the party till his death.
Addressing a gathering at Gundala, Reddy said that he had given his word to the party president Sonia Gandhi that he would remain in the party after her promise to create a separate State for the Telangana region, and that he would stick by it come what may.
He also said that he wanted only a party post and not the post of the Chief Minister or a minister.
The MP continues to create confusion among the party leaders by not turning up for campaigning for the upcoming by-election for the Munugodu Assembly constituency. It is being said that that he will stay away from the campaign as his younger brother is contesting from the constituency as the BJP candidate.
