In yet another jolt to the Congress in Telangana, party MLA B Harshavardhan Reddy, who represents the Kollapur Assembly constituency in the Telangana Assembly, is defecting to the TRS.
He made this revelation after meeting TRS Working President K T Rama Rao in Hyderabad.
The TRS leader welcomed Reddy into the party fold.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that he was ready to resign as MLA and contest as a TRS candidate for the same Assembly seat if required.
He said that he had decided to join the ruling party for the sake of the development of his Assembly constituency. He added that he was also impressed by the development works taken up by CM KCR in the State.
