Telangana Political JAC Chairman M Kodandaram today questioned the TRS government on the action it would initiate against the Mid-Manair dam contractor for the breach during the recent floods, and whether it planned on implementing the Sudhir Committee recommendations of 12% reservations for Muslims in the job and education sectors.
Participating in the Telangana Vidyavanthula Vedika meeting held on Sunday, Kodandaram said that the JAC would meet all political parties on Monday on the these issues and others including the Land Acquisition Act and the Private Universities Act brought in by the State government.
He suggested that the State government not pass the two bills in a hurry.
