Telangana JAC chairman M Kodandaram today said that the proposed "Nirudyogula Rally" on February 22 would be withdrawn only if the State government gave a clear-cut assurance to the unemployed youth.
Kodandaram was participating in a preparatory meeting organized by the Students Unions' JAC at Kakatiya University in Warangal on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the rally was being organized not for the prestige of the JAC but to help the unemployed youth of Telangana.
He demanded that the State government give a clear assurance on the promises made by the TRS on the eve of the last elections.
He also asked the government to implement reservations in the private sector, too, ensuring jobs for the local youth.
He made it clear that the JAC would organize the Nirudyogula Rally at any cost if its requirements were not met.
