Kodandaram Must Resign First: JC

Former Congress minister J C Diwakar Reddy appealed to the CM to take action against Telangana Political JAC convenor Kodandaram for his provocative statements.
Hyderabad | 1st August 2011
Senior leader and former Congress minister J C Diwakar Reddy on Monday appealed to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to take action against Telangana Political Joint Action Committee convenor M Kodandaram.

JC charged that Kodandaram was making provocative speeches to mount pressure on elected representatives in a bid to force them to resign.

Talking to media persons at the Assembly, the senior Congress leader asked Kodandaram to first resign from his post as a Professor in the Osmania University, and to set an example himself before seeking the resignations of Congress leaders from Telangana.

Stating that there was no uncertainty in the state, Diwakar Reddy said ministers, including the ones from Telangana, are personally reviewing files and carrying on with their work without causing any inconvenience to people.

Reacting to the Telangana statehood issue, the former minister stated that the state should remain integrated. He added that if bifurcation were necessary, the separate state should be made up of Telangana and Rayalaseema.

JC further added that there was no need to present the views of Seemandhra leaders to the Congress High Command, and expressed the hope that the Centre would take a decision on the issue soon. (INN)

It would be in the fitness of things that Kodandaram should resign from his job before he can take a plunge in the local politics.
I really don't know why this guy is tolerated in spite of making provocative speeches and issuing threats against seema-andhra people. He should have been hauled before the court
