Kodandaram, KTR Called To Railway Court

Several Telangana leaders including G Kishan Reddy, Bandaru Dattatreya, Kodandaram, and KTR were summoned at Railway Court regarding a 2-day "Rail Roko" that was conducted in 2011.

Several Telangana leaders including BJP's G Kishan Reddy and Bandaru Dattatreya, TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram, and TRS legislator KTR were summoned at Railway Court in Secunderabad.

The Telangana leaders were asked to appear in court regarding cases registered against them over a 2-day "Rail Roko" programme that was conducted in October 2011.

Telangana activists had conducted the "Sakala Janula Samme", a month-long halting of all services, during which they had stopped railway traffic by squatting on the tracks at Ghatkesar, Moula Ali and several other places.

The summoned leaders however say that this was a move of small-minded vengeance on part of the government, to obstruct the Telangana movement in any way they can.
