Union minister for Tribal Welfare V Kishore Chandra Deo on Sunday announced that he is ready to resign from the Union Cabinet if people demand so.
Addressing a meeting of the Samaikyandhra JAC in Viziaanagaram, the minister said that he had tried to use his position to stop the Telangana formation process at the Centre, but that his efforts did not receive any support from other leaders of the region.
Stating that he is in favour of a united Andhra Pradesh, he said that he would submit his resignation to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh if the people demand it. (INN)
