Telangana Industries and IT minister K T Rama Rao today came down heavily on union Minister of State G Kishan Reddy.
He termed Reddy a helpless and incompetent minister (asamarthulu, nissahayulu), who could not do anything for Hyderabad despite being in the union cabinet.
He was referring to the recent rains and floods in Hyderabad.
Pointing out that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking flood relief funds from him on October 15, he said that the PM hadn't even responded on the letter yet.
He said that the same PM had sanctioned Rs 669 crore to Karnataka and Rs 500 crore to Gujarat upon the representations of the CMs of those states, but not a penny had been given to Telangana, showing how incapable the Telangana BJP was despite having four MPs.
He also claimed that BJP workers were taking the flood relief funds offered by the state government, but were sitting on dharnas the very next day against the government, showing the ethics of the BJP.
