Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy had a detailed meeting with Union Health minister and In-charge of State Congress Affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad, on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister, who reached the national capital in the early morning on Wednesday, reportedly discussed with them the prevailing political situation in AP.
He recommended names of certain Congress MPs for consideration for inclusion in the proposed expansion and reshuffle of the Union cabinet. He also discussed with the leaders the issue of filling nominated posts in the state, according to sources.
Also, Kiran Kumar Reddy is said to have briefed Azad on how he handled the Telangana March, and on the political situation that prevailed after the event.
During his visit, the Chief Minister also had a brief meeting with AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, amid reports of the latter's possible inclusion in the Union Cabinet.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Defence minister A K Antony and Finance Minister P Chidambaram during his Delhi visit. (INN)
