Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today reiterated that the KG-to-PG scheme to provide high quality free education to the students would begin from the next academic year.
Participating in a school inauguration program at Warangal, Srihari, who also holds the education portfolio, maintained that the KG-to-PG scheme was aimed at providing the best quality education to all the students and at surpassing private schools.
Besides shaping up the students to be quick learners, the program will make efforts to imbue them with complete knowledge to reproduce and excel in the examinations.
Being a dream project of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the scheme see efforts made to implement it in a fool-proof manner. Right now, elaborate discussions were going on with intellectuals, subject experts and others for a perfect plan of action, Srihari stated.
The KG-to-PG scheme was an important poll promise of the TRS government, which would keep it to enable children get better standards of education, Srihari added.
TRS MP Sitharam Naik, MLAs Vinay Bhaskar and A Ramesh, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, party district president T Ravindra Rao and others were also present at the venue. (NSS)
